I am settling in to my new spot on Instagram and have not given in to the urge too many times (yet) to post pictures of my dog or a bird or bug on the new account. Ha! I will be deactivating my old Instagram account in a few days (when they let me) and will not be reactivating it. Too much personal stuff there I need to let go and I just don’t want a public account with all of that sad baggage from the past few years hanging around in the archives so I am drawing the blinds and locking the door until I am ready to deal with it and starting fresh with my new and improved, less personal, but just as wacky art account.

If you followed me on Instagram because you liked to see my dog and bug photos and read my weird brambly rambles on life and my creative process, then you then you might like this blog. I plan to post nudges on Instagram now and then, to remind folks to click over to this storytelling spot to make it easy for everyone. No newsletters in your inbox because I am a chatterbox and you’d soon regret that. Just know I am here if you wanna sit down with a cup of tea and a ramble through my thickety brain every once in a while.
