This video is the 1st Movement of Elgar’s Cello Concerto as performed by cellist Jacqueline Du Pré with Daniel Barenboim conducting the London Philharmonic in 1967. I couldn’t sleep last night so I watched the documentary Jacqueline du Pré: Genius and Tragedy. I dreamed of dancing hands and cello music. I kept playing her music while working in the studio today.
